There are lots of different ways in which you can help us help our dogs - from a one-off online or postal donation to a regular ‘gift aid’ donation by credit/debit card.
We are a totally independent small, local charity, who receive no official funds of any kind and rely totally on the generosity of voluntary fundraisers and kind donors.
It costs around £580 to keep one dog for one year which, with a capacity for 60 dogs, adds up to a lot of money for us to find each year.
So, whichever way you may choose to help – a grateful Thank you! from us and all our charges in need.
An online donation using your Credit or Debit card is by far the easiest and most efficient way to make a donation - be it a one-off gift or a longer-term commitment. When using our Donate Online form you can rest assured that your gift will be made via our certified 'secure' online payment facility.
However, if you would like to help through a longer-term commitment, please download our Standing Order form and send it off to your Bank.
To download the Application Form you will need Adobe Reader. To download Adobe Reader please click on the link below.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to make a donation by post, please make sure you 'Gift Aid It' by downloading and signing our ‘Gift Aid’ form and enclosing it with your cheque.
This will enable us to reclaim the basic rate of tax (28p in every £1, which means that for every £1 you donate we actually receive £12.80, an extra 28%, from the Inland Revenue), provided you are either a basic or higher rate taxpayer.

Payroll Giving is a tax-efficient scheme that lets you make donations from your salary before tax has been deducted. This benefits both you and our dogs - as you get immediate tax relief on the value of your donation. If you are a basic rate tax payer and want to make a donation of, say, £10, it will actually only cost you £7.80, or £6.00 if you pay tax at 40%.
Often employers already running the ‘Give As You Earn’ scheme will match your donation.
Your employer may not even know that there are also Government grants available to set up a payroll giving scheme. So why not tell him? And if your employer doesn’t already run a Payroll Giving scheme, why not ask him to set one up?
Of course, there are other ways in which you can donate to our dogs.
Perhaps you have an unwanted present or other items that we could turn into money through our jumble sales, tombolas or raffle prizes?
And we are always grateful for Blankets, Sheets, Towels or anything similar that helps provide our charges with comfort and warmth whilst waiting for a home of their own.
